Key West Activities for Women
Key West enjoys idyllic weather, with
highs in deep winter in the 70’s, and in deep summer
in the high 80’s. Thanks
to the climate, our island brims with tropical vegetation
like bougainvillea, coconut palms, banana trees and frangipani
– the source of our logo’s flower.
“Two great days! The Venus trip
was very good and the trip to the Dry Tortugas on the Yankee
Freedom. ”
Off island, Key West’s warm waters are
home to innumerable species of coral and tropical fish.
Pelicans, herons, egrets and osprey live in nearby sanctuaries.
Dolphins jump playfully in the Gulfstream. Nature, sailing,
snorkeling and diving trips can give you a glimpse of the
sea’s rich life that you won’t soon forget. We
can arrange a women-only adventure on a 25' motorboat with
Venus Charters,
or a gay and lesbian "power adventure" on a 65'
Fury catamaran for you.
“Sunset all-women cruise was
a highlight. Loved the staff and guests we met. Exchanged
several e-mail addresses. Pearl's Patio was wonderful. Everyone
was truly wonderful!”

| Backcountry water trips can introduce you to new friends. |
Enjoy a sunset sail in the company of women every Thursday evening on a
Sebago catamaran. |
More sports-minded souls might want to take advantage
of golfing, tennis, kayaking, sport-fishing and para-sailing
opportunities – or football. Each February, the
International Women’s
Flag Football Association brings athletes from all over
the world to Key West. And for those who prefer to be
less active on vacation, our beaches (as well as the poolside
decks at Pearl’s) offer days of relaxation in the sun.
“We enjoyed our day on the boat with
Debra and Captain Karen very much, and the sunset sail was
one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever done on my
birthday.”
