In late October FantasyFest occurs. This Mardi Gras-style carnival attracts thousands of people from all walks of life to celebrate a different theme each year. During the second week in June the town produces PrideFest Key West, a weekend of performances, parties and a parade. And the week after Labor Day in September is home to Womenfest, featuring movies, a golf tournament, comedy, music and plenty of parties. It's the wildest women's event of the year.
